Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 資訊學系 === 96 === This paper, we propose a controlled-flooding based routing, CFBRP, a maintenance-free and random path routing protocol for wireless Ad hoc networks. Exploiting the broadcast nature of wireless communication, the protocol forwards the packet via broadcast, which also acts as a passive ACK to the previous sender of this packet. In order to reduce redundant rebroadcasts, a node may cancel its packet transmission, if it overhears the same packet being broadcast again. Moreover, the protocol uses “passive ACK” to search destination node and form a transmission zone between source node and destination node. In the transmission zone, all receiving node will be candidate nodes for forwarding, otherwise the packets will be dropped. CFBRP can handle node or link failures without incurring any control packet overhead and maintaining the routing table. Keywords: flooding, Ad hoc, broadcast, passive ACK, transmission zone
