碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 紡織工程所 === 96 === This study aims to analyze one certain stock via computer-assisted program written in programming language Visual Basic 6.0. Within various data of stock price of“Formosa Chemicals and Fibre Corporation”and its trading volume collected from the database, the conditions of earning profits are investigated among different date intervals and price differences. In addition, the variation of profit-making rate is also examined through moving average and trading volume. First, with focusing on the change of stock price, the profit-making conditions are explored among different date intervals. The results indicate that the better the profits, the greater the volatility will be encountered. Afterwards, the moving average line is considered as the criterion of bargain and consequently the profit-making conditions are enhanced. Ultimately, as adding the trading volume variable, the rate of return on investment is increased.
