Causes to have the traditional settlement area to deteriorate gradually old, At present has the sightseeing industry to be able only to continue to survive, therefore, how in the city future in the integral development, old to have the settlement area to integrate the overall scope to make the analysis, will draw up the complete future to develop the strategy for this research goal. This research take the Zhanghua County Lugang Town, the Taizhong County Dajia Town and the Taoyuan County Daxi Town as the object of study, this three villages and towns namely had the ancients in the end of the Qing time to develop cultivate, its city streets development presented the anomalous form, was for the coordination geographical environment and the settlement development, but formed naturally organic state. Range of study for Lugang metropolis plan area, Tachia metropolis plan area and Taxi metropolis plan area, research time for end of the Qing time, date according to urban district correction time and nowadays. Because of the research discussion history property''s preservation may pays attention broader linking in the subject which to the life, including housing, economic development, expansion traveling and transportation and so on. Approves the local history property and preserves, is the government policy and the local economic development big challenge, except will future develop in the metropolis has the suitable plan, but also the suitable preserved history will remain down the testimony and will plan using the historical site compensates the local resident to preserve the endeavor which the historical site will do.
