In most of the time, it is unable to judge a deformed glass cassette by bare eyes only. This detection method can highly reduce the damage of the glasses caused by the confliction among the robot arms, the glass cassette frames, and the glasses. At first, the coordinates of the set points of the frames are measured. Those are used as the foundations for planning the allowed error ranges of measurement errors and of the deformed frames. There are 9 set points for measurement on either the front side or the back side of the glass cassette frames. By combining the theory of probability density function and the optimal sequential search method, we proposed a quick search method. By virtue of this method, we can compare the measured data with the preset bounded error ranges to locate the damaged locations of the glass cassette frames. This can largely reduce the detecting time, highly promote the working efficiency and the system stability. It is much better than the traditional method.
