First, this study examined the remarkable differences by the population statistics to comprehend the leisure participation, job stress and well-being. Second, this study tried to elucidate the correlation among leisure participation, job stress and well-being. Expect to find out the solutions of slackening the job stress for nursing staffs, and to help them to get better well-being. The object of study is based on the 305 full-time nursing staffs, which work in Changhua Show Chawn Memorial Hospital over 3months, and 231 questionnaires are retrieved. The retrieval rate is 75.7%. The survey instrument is “The Questionnaire of Leisure Participation, Job Stress, Well-being and Personal Basic Information of the Nursing Staffs”. By utilizing SPSS as a statistical tool in the analyses of the cross-sectional questionnaire, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe-test were used for the major statistical techniques. The results of this study were showed as followings: 1. The 4 highest average proportions of the nursing staffs who participated in leisure ac-tivities are indoor-static activities. The 3 lowest average proportions are out-door-sports activities. These show that there are obvious variations when nursing staffs chose the leisure activities. 2. The major job stress of nursing staff is from the time factor, which shows that due to the rotation system, the nursing staffs have the pressure of time arrangement for per-sonal work. Moreover, the single staffs have more pressure than married staffs, and the staffs who work under 2 years have more pressure than seniorities. 3. The well-being of nursing staffs, which work over 4years and do not have child, was worse. The well-being of married staffs was better than single staffs. The mature status of well-being of nursing staffs is over 30 years old. 4. Owing to the personal background, there are remarkable differences among leisure participation, job stress and well-being of the nursing staffs. 5. Owing to the personal background, there are notable correlations among leisure par-ticipation, job stress and well-being of the nursing staffs. Wei-Ling Lee 李維靈 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 108 zh-TW
