Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計研究所 === 96 === This research has pick 8 robots that are getting more attention in the recent years to make questionnaires with image vocabulary and investigation for students as the target. The purpose of the research is to find out what will be the image perception towards robots? Nowadays, every nation in the world has unceasingly come up with robots that are good at serving. And during the process of these designs, every individual robot has it own unique way to express feelings. Through this research it is hoped that the particular opinions men hold towards the feeling expression of the future robots can be found. After all, robots in the future will have something more or less to do with our daily lives. We want to know what will be the most acceptable feeling expressions for the human kind.
This research has selected 8 robots which include. The total of the returned investigation questionnaires are 110. The content of the questionnaire in this research is edited with semantic method, anticipating the desired result into the formation of this questionnaire. For example, cute, favorable, conversant, creative, vivid, interesting or relaxing. These 7 sets of perception adjectives are used for this investigation and the degree of preference of respondents toward such things will be known. The evaluation in this research is done with 5 grades and the questionnaire is made with 8 robots and 7 sets of perception vocabulary. The respondents will have to make judgment about each robot with subjectivity and the most appropriate grade ticked for every single one of them.
The conclusion of the research is as follows:
1.There is not much difference in the effect of preference to the robots by the difference in either sex or age, and the score of the vocabulary in the questionnaire is about the same as well.
2.Robots that are cute and sweet in most people’s impression are more welcomed; and robots that show creativity in the words they use win most people’ s heart.
3.Every vocabulary has its own unique robot, we may thus aim at this particular demand and find from the adequate vocabulary a direction for the theme, and design a robot that fits our demand.
