The objectives of the research included: 1. Let young children experience their own and others'' emotions through music activity. 2. To improve young children''s emotional accommodation through music activity. The study included sessions of 30 minutes, twice a week, for a total 26 times. The main methodology was a qualitative case study and quantitative data was used to receive objective support. The results were interpreted based on data collected via a feedback form from parents, semi-structured musical activities observation form, interviews with parents and child-care workers, musical activities feedback form, and record of special events. The research findings included: 1.Improvement in experience of their own and others'' emotions by the three children was observed, and the statistical results of social validity also supported this observation. Thus, the application of musical activities was positive and effective in improving young children’s emotional development. 2.Improvement in emotional accommodation by the three children through musical activities, which included musical instruments, songs, musical appreciation and storytelling.
