The rush weaving is the Tachia area important culture heritage, and has historical and the life significance, and flows lives in the vein to the inhabitant. The purpose of this study lies in understood the Tachia area inhabitants to preserves the rush weaving culture, and so as to the impetus community develops and goes sightseeing, achieves the place culture industry, regarding the record, transmits, preserved work and so on the subsidy promotion, willingness to pay by development sightseeing to preserve the cultural heritage. The cultural heritage certainly does not have the general market price, therefore, applies condition of the non-market valuation techniques to contingent valuation method understood whether the Tachia area inhabitants are willing to pay to preserve the rush weaving culture, and analyzes the inhabitants culture heritage preservation to pay expenses influence factor the wish. This study uses the open style condition appraisal law for the inquiry way, the result showed 67.3% receive visits the inhabitant to be willing to pay, the price to account for 23.6% by $1,000 to be in the majority; pushes using the Tobit model estimates is willing to pay the price, obtains the rush weaving culture preservation to be willing to pay the price is $92.55. Knew by way of the real diagnosis result, the inhabitants are willing to pay the price is $92.55, demonstrated in the participant heart actually is willing to pay the WTP amount for, comparison culture heritage preservation cognition question view, the rush weaving culture should preserve the mean value 4.44 minute, and agreed the rush weaving is the Tachia area important culture heritage mean value 4.31 minute, the inhabitants thought this item of place culture should preserve, and are willing to pay some expense.
