Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系碩士班 === 96 === The purposed of this study was to investigate the mediator effect of work value between personal trait and career development, and to explore the current situation of personal traits, work value, and career development of vocational high school cooperative education students. Also the differences between the demographics of students and personal traits, work value, and career development of vocational high school cooperative education students. The research was conducted by questionnaire survey. The total response of questionnaire was 630, and the valid sample was 567. The validity rate was 90%. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistic, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and hierarchical regression. Following were the research findings: 1. With respect to students’ personality traits, vocational high school cooperative education students tended to be friendlier, outgoing, and responsible. 2. With regards to students’ work value, they believe the economy and safety of organization and social interaction brought better working environment (as for personal tranquility and easiness). 3. Students believe that career development should draw focus on work involvement, attitude and consciousness. 4. There were significant differences between school achievements and personality traits of vocational high school cooperative education students. 5. There were significant differences between gender and career development of vocational high school cooperative education students. 6. Work value had the mediator effect between personality traits and career development.
