Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 資訊工程系碩士班 === 96 === The main purpose of this paper is to suggest and design PWM/PFM dual-mode scheduled controller for battery charger. In this PWM/PFM charger controller, there are total 4 scheduled procedures, including two constant-current (CC) and one constant-voltage (CV) charging procedures. It is helpful to protect battery by using multiple scheduled charging procedures. In general, for the battery conversion efficiency, PWM technique is employed in the heavy load, or PFM is for the light load. In this paper, the PWM/PFM dual-mode scheme is adopted so as to obtain the battery efficiency for the wide rang of load. The simulating software is produced by PSPICE and OrCAD10.5 completed feedback. The output voltage is 5V, the highest efficiency is 89.25% and use to TSMC 0.35μm 2P4M CMOS design of PWM/PFM Dual-Mode Scheduled Charger Controller completed, the power consumption of the chip is 24mW.
