Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 建築及都市設計研究所 === 96 === Plants are the basic producers of the earth ecosystem. They form habitats for living organisms, provide food source and important ecological mechanism, such as energy conservancy, for living organisms. Ecologically, varied plant colonies cultivate diversified animal and plant ecosystems; environmentally, variable plant shapes, changes of flowering, defoliation, fruiting create elegant and abundant living space; in terms of culture, plant value manifests in living aspects, including eating, clothing, residency, traveling, education, and entertainment. Important contribution of plants to environment quality and ecological benefit has already been noted. Therefore, “vegetation engineering” becomes a fundamental and essential item in various environmental engineering applications, and vegetation plant material is regarded as essential element in project execution.
Due to the demand for diversity and abundance vegetation material information during the current soil conservancy engineering projects, this study used literature review to establish an applicable vegetation material database, vegetation selection criteria, and system assessment model, in order to provide references to vegetation material selection in relevant engineering application and execution. This study proposed and discussed affecting factors concerning soil conservancy vegetation engineering, categorized and integrated the factors of soil conservancy vegetation. The criteria formulation is the critical factor of assessment correctness in terms of a decision support system. This study proposed two affecting factors for vegetation environment and three vegetation plant levels, environment condition, site condition, vegetation characteristic.
This study was proven to provide rapid and convenient planting material assessment and selection support system to planning and design personnel. The decision support system is to support decision-makers to deal with multilevel problems, such as semi-structural or structural or even nonstructural decision problems, and improve decision effectiveness. This system takes into account of ecology, protection and sustainability, and selects plants appropriate to the environment, in order to provide rapid and convenient planting material assessment and selection support to planning and design personnel, thus assisting related planning professionals, and providing a decision support system prototype for reference of future decision and assessment in executing slope vegetation plan. It is expected that the impact of man-made exploitation and utilization of environment can be alleviated by the comprehensive structured assessment system coexisted with nature.
