The purpose of this study is to explore whether the long-term care measurement for the increasing population consisting of the elderly in Taiwan is sufficient. In accordance with the total volume of bed provided by Taiwan-based long-term care organizations during the period from 2002 to 2006, this study adopted Grey Method to estimate the total volume of bed required by long-term care organizations in Taiwan during the period from 2007 to 2009. This study explored that the supply of long-term care organization would be sufficient in both northern and southern Taiwan. In addition, this research revealed that the resource distribution among each district would not be balanced.
