Therefore, the personality of life insurance agents is of great importance in customer services. On the basis of this fact, the present research attempts to conduct personality analysis on insurance agents, and to provide life insurance companies with some valuable references on selecting, training and retaining talents. This research employs empirical methods. It divides personality into social skill, working tendency, social expectation, positive attitude and affability. It further takes demographic variables, including sex, age, education, marital status, years of working experience and working hours per day, as control variables. By taking agents from P-Insurance Brokers Co. Ltd. as the study objects, we issue to them 99 questionnaires and get all of them returned. After excluding those invalid ones with inauthentic or missing answers, we get 67 valid ones, at a valid response rate of 68%. According to the results of research, the personality aspects show that “social skill” is significantly and positively correlated with “working tendency”, “affability” and “positive attitude”. So does “working tendency” with “affability” and “positive attitude”. On the other hand, "positive attitude" also has a significant and positive correlation with "social expectation".
