Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 96 === This thesis has planned and proposed a maximum power point tracking method in according output characteristic of non-linear of solar cells for shading effect. When output characteristic of solar cells exist a lot of local maximum power point, the proposed method could track to global maximum power point.
Using simulation software of MATLAB planned the maximum power point tracking method in thesis, and tested with stable insolation and transient insolation on solar cells. MATLAB can simulate real non-linear output characteristic of solar cells and track to simultaneous existed a lot of local maximum power points for shading effect.
The experiment system was composed of one solar cell 75Watts, one boost converter, digital signal processor and a pair of voltage and current sensor. Making a common perturbation and observation method in the system is compared with the proposed method in thesis. The result of the proposed method is better than the perturbation and observation method, because error ratio of maximum power point of the proposed method was controlled and not exceeded 1.9% to 2.8%. Conclusion, the shading-effects dose happen it or not, output power point of solar cells can operate on global maximum power point exactly with the propose method.
