Each Siraya settlement appears different degree of influence from the Han culture which indicates the indigenous local culture has adjusted to the ambient changes, and has reconstructed a new culture content and symbolization. The result of the belief culture in each settlement leads to evident divergence and different forms today. In Dong-shan, Tainan, the Haw-hai ceremony of the Kabuasua tribe, which is the most unique inland ocean sacred ceremony in Taiwan, combines the tribe with the environment, making the atmosphere returning to the sacred primordial time when the sacred space was established consequently. The interaction between the spiritual meaning and the space cognition of the tribe then ensues the sacred characteristics of the space, and affects the space usage of the Siraya relatively. The Siraya therefore develops a common form of value and the respect to the sacred space, which is restricted by the atmosphere and becomes crucial for them to obey the sanctity of the space. We took the Kabuasua tribe for example, expounding the space structure of Siraya's belief of sacred space . In addition, the interplay between the meaning of space and how people in the tribe use the sacred space under the influences of their culture background.
