Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 96 === In this work, we presented experimental data of diffusion coefficients of four [Bmim]-based ionic liquids and five [Emim]- based ionic liquids in water for temperatures ranging from (303.2 to 323.2) K using Taylor dispersion technique. As a solution is injected into a carrier stream, it flows in a long capillary tube and the injected solutes spread out as the mixed flow along the capillary tube. The concentration profiles of diffused solutes were determined by a refractive index detector. The investigated ionic liquids were [Bmim][BF4 (tetrafluoroborate)], [Bmim][MeSO4(methylsulfate)], [Bmim][PF6(hexafluorophosphate)], [Bmim] [CF3SO3(trifluoromethanesulfonate)] [Emim][C2N3 (dicyanamide)], [Emim][BF4 (tetrafluoroborate)], [Emim][C2H5SO4 (ES) (ethylsulfate)], [Emim][CF3SO3 (trifluoromethanesulfonate)], and [Emim][MDEGSO4 ethylsulfate)]. The molar conductivities of these ionic liquids were also measured and the infinite dilution conductances were determined. The new experimental diffusion coefficients were represented using three correlations; namely, the Wilke讣Chang, the Modified Wilke讣Chang, and the Nernst讣Haskell equations.
