Enterprise must develop new products that are profitable. This study drives a two echelon inventory model where retailer is the leader. The rate of deterioration is assumed constant and demand increases with price decrease. We then consider a varying rate of deterioration using Weibull distribution and apply profit-sharing policy. The objective of the study is to maximize total supplier’s profit. A computer dynamic search algorithm is developed to obtain the optimal lifecycle time.
