碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 外事警察研究所 === 96 === Abstract Human trafficking is a crime that is very difficult to terminate and is called by International society as present slavery and offence toward human rights. This crime is continuously grows either nationally or internationally. The more developed and advanced technology, information as well as transportation, the more developed the modus of crime it becomes in which in its operation is often used closely and acts off the law. The traffickers also grow fast becoming cross country syndicates with their lethal way of working. Human trafficking can take any toll, either adults or children, boys or girls who are generally in vulnerable situation and condition. The modus used in this crime are various and also have complicated working aspects. Taiwan is one of the countries that becomes the working place for migrant workers coming from Vietnam, Thailand, The Phillipines as well as Indonesia. The harsh truth is that lots of Indonesian citizen become the victims of human trafficking in Taiwan.
