Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 電機工程學系(所) === 96 === In this thesis, a machine perception S2AIR through Stimulus-Sensation-Alertness-Identification-Recognition process is proposed. The stimulus-response process enables the machine to have perception by itself and it will let the ice-cold machine act like the human being. Many kinds of sensors like sound sensor, light sensor, temperature/humidity sensor and infrared sensor are used in the hardware system to imitate the sense organs of human. While a variety of signal transmits into the brain at the same time, people deal with the message and process to become personal percept, and then react to the events. Percept for each person will be different because of personality, background, and experience. An S2AIR model integrated with affective robot enhances its interaction and interesting.
