This research focuses on the outdated regulations and tries to propose adjustments, deletions, and additions for relevant regulations. In addition, evaluations on currently used procedures will be done. These procedures include the appropriate width of the working decks and the uses of wires as fixtures for the working decks and cross bar. On the other hand, the CNS does not provide detailed regulations for testing the scaffolds and relevant parts. The figures provided in CNS are not very clear with regards to the actual setups of the tests either. This research will use questionnaires, review of domestic and foreign regulations, and suggestions of experts to identify the problems. Base on these results as well as testing figures, additions, modifications for the CNS standards will be proposed. It is hoped that the new standards will be able to help to reduce the number of occupational accidents. At present, the current procedures for setting up frame scaffolds used by the construction industry sometimes do not work well during the erection and dismantle phases. It causes possible occupational accidents and delays of the projects. This research will review experiment data and identify the problems during erections and dismantling the scaffold systems.
