Summary:碩士 === 中華技術學院 === 機電光工程研究所碩士班 === 96 === This study used the principle of Laser reflection and refraction to form two caustics to observed the crack growth of material the results such as force, crack length, diameter or stress concentration factor were observed by CCD images. Relations between these results were discussed. The changes of fringe with force near the crack peak were also observed by reflective caustic system. This system was easy to establish and was able to solve the problem of fringes overlap in other optical measuring types. In this study we adopted the transparent and reflective caustics for different objects to predict the behavior of material characteristics.
