Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理學研究所 === 96 === Emergency healthcare includes cares before a patient arrive hospital and while in hospital. Emergency vehicle operators provide the healthcare services before the emergency room personnel takes over when the patient arrives to the hospital. Emergency department services focus on accidental injuries or acute illnesses. Doctors and nurses in the emergency department must deliver treatment and cares covering a wide spectrum of types and severity – and all within a very compressed time period. Since the ability to access patient’s relevant information in near or real time could help care providers to better diagnosis symptoms and provide treatments, it becomes an urgent issue.
This research lists current problems and bottlenecks faced by the healthcare service providers in the emergency department, and they are organized into the following four areas:
1.How to rapidly access patient information in real-time.
2.How to quickly recognize those patients who have the highest urgency.
3.How to prevent personnel, during the peak hours, from forgetting to observe patients.
4.How to provide inter-hospital patient information and medical records tracking.
To tackle these problems, this research applies RFID to the emergency care to. The overall design of the within hospital RFID emergency healthcare service flow system and the inter-hospital emergency healthcare service patient record tracking system is based on the methodology outlined in Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).
