Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理學研究所 === 96 === Eco-Design Requirement for Energy Using Products (EuP) is one of the three environmental protection regulations announced by European Union. EuP is associated with a considerable number of important impacts on the environment. The purpose of this directive is to give more consideration to the life cycle of the product at a very early stage in the product design, and to make the product more environmentally-friendly. The Propose is to reduce the energy consumption and emissions of greenhouse gases blamed for global warming. If the products manufactured from Taiwan’s electronics industry couldn’t fulfill the EuP requirements, they will be rejected from entering the European Union. It has great and lasting impact on Taiwan’s electronics industry.
This paper analyzes what problems will appear while EuP regulations were implemented. Some of these problems are listed below:
1.In the EuP process, there are no identical Eco-Profile formats in the Green Supply Chain.
2.Problems of Eco-Profile updating.
3.Information interchanges between heterogeneous systems.
4.How is information platform to deal with business environment, even if the business process changes frequently?
Then, this paper proposes an Eco-Profile information interchange platform based on SOA through papers survey. The benefits of the platform are described below:
1.Generalize the business processes that extended from EuP, and design the Eco-Profile information interchange platform to let these processes become more efficiency.
2.Propose the lack of solutions that presented from Taiwan’s industries, and improve them.
3.Design a component-based information interchange platform based on SOA. The vendors can face many changes faster through this flexible platform. Even if different countries have their own rules or European Union proposes more restrictions in the future.
