It is a small parasitic subshrubs and mainly distribution in tropical Asia, Australia to Polynesia. Thirty-five compounds were isolated from the fresh Korthalsella japonica ( 1.2 kg ). The major components were flavanoids and chromones, which were similar with Viscum coloratum,. Among them, five new compounds, methyl-4-O- cinnamoyl- quinate ( 26 ), korthalin ( 28 ), korjaponin ( 29 ), 6’, 4’’-dihydroxy-2’,3’’- dimethoxychalcone-4’ -O-β- glucoside ( 30 ) and viscolin 4’,4’’-di-O-β- D-glucoside ( 31 ) were isolated for the first time from the natural source. The isolated compounds were subjected to evaluate their bioactive- ties. The results of anti-inflammatory experiments showed that viscolin has significant inhibitory activities in the release of superoxide anion and elastase in fMLP/CB-activated human neutrophils. Korthalin, 6’, 4’’- di- hydroxy-2’, 3’’-dimethoxychalcone-4’-O-β-glucoside, viscolin 4’,4’’ -di- O-β-D glucoside showed no or minor anti-inflamatory activities. Y. L. Leu 呂彥禮 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 108 |
