| Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 96 === Due to the increasing numbers of higher education institutes in Taiwan, the competition among those schools is strong. Many schools create the competitive advantages by offering the information service for their staff and students. With the rapid development of IT technology, the expectation for acquiring services for staff and students through the Internet gets stronger. It is important for each school to offer those persons rapid and convenient service.
There are many works existing in the process of school administration. The process for verifying graduation qualification is one of the complex works for most of those schools. Without any assistance of information technology, it would be time wasting and tiring. We want to build a web-based system for persons involved in the process of operation. It will offer those persons to verify those types of courses by staff of curriculum and exempt courses by secretary. Besides, the verification result is available for query by the students.
Our research will use the tools and methodology for cause and effects diagrams, benchmark, and UML to analyze and design our system. ASP.NET will be used at the implementation phase. We will evaluate performance by making comparisons with benchmark and survey for satisfaction. We believe that the system we build could set a good example for other universities to discuss or learn.
