碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 96 === This thesis begins with an introduction to factor graphs and sum-product algorithm and turn to a discussion of Gaussian message passing for linear models and coding in factor graph.With the channel estimation, this thesis considers an algorithm for training sequence synchronization for both ST and DDST. The synchronization algorithm are based on the structural properties of the vector containing the cyclic means of the channel output. For symbol detection ,a general approach to obtain approximate maximum likelihood solution is called sphere decoder algorithm in multiple input multiple output transmission system. The basis of sphere decoder is search tree algorithm that is search the closet lattice point in radius.
