The intention of their undertaking was to continue the literary tradition of Chinese clan in Qingshui, their hometown. Most of the poems of the society have unfortunately been lost without many survivals. However, the content of the poems are diversified, thanks to the participation of opinion leader Caihuiru, even Cai’s family, and Chenjiliu who was excellent in writing. The poems consist of various kinds, such as the rise and fall of the times, the ups and downs of the society, personal experiences, and the communication and intercourse of different societies-all of which interweave into a Qingshui graffiti of its culture and social life during Japanese occupation. Aoxi Poets Society is among the Classical Literature of Taizhong County and also a part of the Classical Literature in the period of Japanese occupation. In these sense, the study of Aoxi Poets Society will not only draw the outline of literature and its activities in Qingshui, but but offer Taizhong district and Taiwan Classical Literature with necessary literary materials. 江寶釵 鄭定國 學位論文 ; thesis 218 zh-TW |
