碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程所 === 96 === We always keep eyes on the consuming electric products at present, especially the digital TV. Manufacturer of CATV, cell phone, PDA all want to broadcast digital TV. Competition among manufacturer to enter the market of digital TV is intense. The research subject is to unicast digital TV through ethernet. Use the technology of VLAN to communicate the user’s computer by changing MAC address, and transmit the digital signal of STB to the user’s computer to complete for unicast. We use FPGA and the RTL8201BL ehternet chip to send out broadcast package. The computer receives the broadcast package and return the reply package. When FPGA receive the reply package through RTL8201BL ehternet chip, it transmits the packages of digital TV to the user’s computer. The use’s computer uses the package cache software (for example, Ethereal) to save these packages of digital TV, and use media player to play the digital TV. Besides, the user’s computer can sand out some kinds of packages to interrupt or control the STB to achieve the goal of remote.
