While the enterprises are facing the fast-changing environment, the trend of global economy has shifted from the old-fashion labor and skill-intensive industry into the new knowledge-based economic system. Knowledge has now been viewed as a key factor to gain competitive advantage. This study is based on Gold et al (2001)’s model and to understand the influence of organizational knowledge management capacity from two perspectives: knowledge infrastructure capacity and knowledge process capacity. Three mediating variables, including procedure efficiency, procedure performance, and procedure flexibility are used to understand the impacts of knowledge infrastructure capacity and knowledge process capacity on organizational performance. A total of 650 questionnaires were distributed and 117 effective responses were received. The effective response rate is 18%. The results from the structural equation modeling analysis indicated: (1) Knowledge management capacity and knowledge infrastructure capacity have significant positive effects on the organizational innovation and integration, and cost reduction as well. (2) Knowledge management capacity and knowledge infrastructure capacity have significant positive effects on the organizational adaptability. (3) Knowledge management capacity and knowledge process capacity have significant positive effects on the organizational innovation and integration, and cost reduction as well. Finally, some implications are also provided.
