Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理所 === 96 === Multimedia learning is an effective way of learning in this age of information. Therefore, designing a high quality multimedia learning environment has become an important issue of the e-Learning research. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the influence of a learner's thinking styles, including Type I (creativity-generating) and Type II (norm-favoring), and learning motivation on learning outcomes in a multimedia learning environment. An additional moderating variable is the teaching style. The sample is one hundred and sixty-seven learners of the National Chung Cheng University e-Classroom. The results indicate that: (1) The learners with higher score in the thinking styles of creativity-generating have significantly higher academic performance and cognitive engagement; (2) Learning motivation has a significantly positive effect on learning outcomes; (3) Teaching style has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes; (4) Teaching styles has no significant moderating effect on the relationship between thinking styles and learning outcomes.
