As the economic integration in EU has been completed, this study will examine the free trade aim of Common Commercial Policy in EU. In the world trade area, World Trade Organization is the most representative role, especially the Dispute Settlement Body. Therefore, this study examines CCP according to the free trade that WTO defined. When judging the quality of the free trade aim of CCP, this study uses the cases that DSB has settled to be the criteria. Among EU’ s cases in DSB, the more significant and representative cases are almost in connection with the United States, thence this study chooses four trade disputes between EU and USA- Banana Dispute、Hormones Meat Dispute、Biotech Products Dispute、Large Civil Aircraft Dispute- to be the criteria. At the same time, this study uses the New Protectism and Strategy Trade Theory to be the basic theory to analysis the background and the meaning of these four trade disputes. Finally, with these four disputes, this study reflects the values of free trade and offers some thinking for Taiwan’s government.
