Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 化學工程所 === 96 === The aim of this work is to prepare organic-inorganic hybrid
polymeric materials by using the sol-gel method. Diblock copolymers
(Polystyrene-block-Polyisoprene) of various molecular weight were first
synthesized via a sequential living anionic polymerization with n-BuLi as
the initiator and end-capped with a coupling agent, either
3-Glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTMS) or
Hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane (CTS). Secondly, GPTMS or CTS was
bonded to the surface of nano-silica particles by the sol-gel method.
Finally, this mixture was mixed with methyl methacrylate and
trimethylopropane triacrylate and then the organic-inorganic hybrid thin
film was formed after a spin coating followed by UV-curing. The effects
of reaction on the properties of the thin film were investigated, including
the varieties of molecular weight of copolymer and silica content. The
structure of hybrid materials has been verified by 1H NMR, 29Si NMR
and TEM. The resulting films have smooth surface, high transparency
and high hardness in the thin film.
