Ruptured berry aneurysm causes subarachnoid hemorrhage, neurological complication, even death. Curing cerebral aneurysm is not only a deconstructive procedure with sacrificing the parent artery which aneurysm arises is a widely accepted to treatment modality, but also the guglielmi detachable-coil(GDC) method by deposing the coil in aneurysm used to remedy for patients. The reasons for using GDC method are that coil may make the disturbance of blood flow, a reduction in the intra-aneurysm flow velocity, the formation of a stable thrombus, and the decrease in the probability of rupturing aneurysm. By far, most reported articles and research about GDC method are focusing on berry aneurysm in terms of its clinical treatment modality. Few of others are using hemodynamics to probe the GDC, and using computational simulation to investigate effect on before and after coil embolization. But all of them the models about coil and berry aneurysm were too simplify to describe the flow pattern of the true berry aneurysm. In process of curing the quantity of the coil may affect degree of thrombus; bellyful of the coil may cause berry aneurysm to rupture. The plant takes advantage of computational simulation and experimental models to discuss the pattern of blood flow using GDC in berry aneurysm The aims of the present woek are threefold:(1)to evaluate the hemodynamics and the blood flow pattern in berry aneurysm by the method of computational fluid dynamic and experimental models combining with computer tomography (CT) imaging reconstruction.(2)to investigate effect on before and after coil embolization.(3)to investigate hemodynamic change in the difference quantity of the coil in berry aneurysm 曾培元 劉中和 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 70 zh-TW
