Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊社會學研究所 === 95 === In this thesis, we are trying to analyze the acts of music creators by studying both the history of music production process of general normal form from analogization to digitization, and the acts of music creators in the era of digitization in Taiwan by their own accounts. After studying, we could find the creators of two eras that they have not only the different opinions but also changes and responses of related issues during process of creation. In the research, the music creators put forward the opposite theory according to the rise of marginal culture and independent music, and they concluded that, from the changes of process during creation, commercialized operation made this phenomenon. Another reason caused this phenomenon, it’s develop of information and communication technologies which bring about the information spreading quickly in the digitization era. Segment the audience and the result of creation might cause the disappearance of “Creation Pattern”. With regard to the changes of creators and creation in different eras, we are analyzing in this thesis, the phenomenon of collage which digital technology emphasizes, and also the value of principal part which the creators are looking for while composing music in the digital era. Most of the musicians believe that no matter how fast the technology progresses, the connotation and value of music come from the creators themselves all along. They have this belief as the strength to create new works. However, after researching the relation between creators and music listeners in the digital era, we could see the changes which are different from analogue music after the digital music combines with the internet. The whole new interactive field does stress the distinction the relation between the specialization and monopolization of music industry. In addition, it opens another channel for sales of musical merchandise. Without doubt, the complement between virtual and real performances, it’s a source of new power of creation for independent musicians.
