A Study of the Career Planning Cognition Model on Career Decision-Making for Technological University Students

碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所碩士班 === 95 === This study aims to understand how technological university and technological college students’ recognition levels on perceptions of carrer plans which include the perceptions of career ego characteristics, the perceptions of the sources from career information, the perceptions of the career market environment factors affect career the decision-making process, what the significant influence brought by different background variables and probes into the relation between the recognition model of career plan and the process of career decision-making. A questionnaire survey was adopted in the study and the research subjects include 327 senior daytime students from Kaohsiung and Pintong district technological universities and technological colleges. Furthermore, descriptive statistic and t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, multiple-regression-analysis, path-analysis are adopted to conduct statistic analysis. The research results of this study are summarized as the followings. 1. Technological university students’ perceptions on Career ego characteristics, Career information sources and career market environment and career planning recognition factors belong to high-intermediate level. 2. Significance differences are shown on a Majority of Technological university students’ perceptions on career ego characteristics, career information sources and career market environment and career planning recognition factors and career decision-making process because of different background variables. 3. Significant negative relation is shown on the recognition level between career ego characteristics and career decision-making process. However, significant positive relations are shown on recognition level among the perceptions of career information source, the perceptions of career market environment and the perceptions of career decision making process. 4. The recognition levels on perceptions of career ego characteristics, perceptions of career information source, perceptions of career market environment and Perceptions of Carrer Plan enable to predict the satisfactory of career decision making.
