Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 應用外語系碩士班 === 95 === The trends of new Public Health policy and Taiwanese citizens’ concerns indicate the significance of community orientation in hospitals. However, because of the implementation of National Health Insurance and Global Budget System, hospitals and clinics in Taiwan have been facing dramatic changes and environment uncertainties. Thus, the competitive strategy type hospitals are presumed to accommodate with environment and community orientation. The study aims to investigate the relationship between environment uncertainty, strategy types and degree of community orientation of hospitals and clinics with different characters in Taiwan.
First, it was hypothesis that the degree of Community Orientation is positively related to Environment Uncertainty; second, this study attempts to investigate the recursive relationship of strategy type and community orientation; finally, the study further examined the interaction of strategy type on environment uncertainty and community orientation.
By conducting SPSS v.13.0 and STATA v.9.0, the research framework and hypothesis were tested and analyzed through statistical methods, respectively Reliability Analysis, Canonical Correlation Analysis, Hierarchical Regression Analysis and Two Stages Least Squares Regression.
The empirical research findings are as follows: (1). hospitals and clinics with great perception of Effect Uncertainty and slightly low perception of State Uncertainty, they tend to adopt more internal resource and avoid using previous reward to enhance the degree of community orientation. (2). A casual relationship exists between strategy type and degree of community orientation. (3). Strategy type serves as a moderator of the relationship between environment uncertainty and degree of community orientation.
