Due to the popularity of instant messengers around Taiwan, scholars have done lots of researches related to this topic, except characteristics of instant messengers, employee''s satisfaction and personal performance. In some companies, instant messengers are forbidden, though, some companies believe that to make the most of instant messengers can not only reduce some cost, but also improve communication with efficiencies, while some still assume they will influence the staff''s working performance. The theme of this research regards instant messengers applied in organizations as communication tools and takes salespersons of enterprises as the research object to probe into the quality of instant messengers, and the staff''s satisfaction and personal performance. This research discovered that different frequency of utilization will influence individual''s consciousness to the quality of the instant messengers. Furthermore, the staff''s satisfaction has apparent relationship with personal performance. “Personal feedback”, “Organization integration”, “Media quality”, “Corporate communication”, “Communication climate”, “Co-worker communication” and “Supervisory communication”, those seven factors will affect personal performance. Among these seven factors, “Personal Feedback” takes the most important part of influencing personal performance. However, “Supervisory Communication” takes the lowest one.
