Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業設計系碩士班 === 95 === This study will investigate the distributions of affective images in the perceptual space. It will focus on the mental mechanism people use to categorize specific styles according to the structuralized features of solid forms. In the previous studies, it was found that people categorize forms were based on the feature structures and people evaluate affective images were influenced by the form features. The relationship of the perceptual space based on the feature structures in the categorization to the affective images will be studied. The hypothesis of this study is the categorization behaviors on subjects are influenced not only by the feature structures but also the affective images from the feature structures. Each affective image will have a specific distribution in the perceptual space of categorization. To explore the distributions of affective images in the perceptual space, an integrated approach for the semantic evaluation to the perceptual space will be studied. It helps to confirm the prediction of the distribution of affective images in the perceptual space. The results of the experiment would make it possible for us to understand how people formulate specific images toward structuralized features and how the specific form styles in the environment will affect the impression of form feature structure and people’s product form style perception. This will help designers to manipulate the feature structure of forms to precisely communicate to the customers with suitable form styles that can be understood by the users.
