碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業設計系碩士班 === 95 === The purpose of this study is aimed at Chinese web interface for older adults, it is about a preferably and appropriate element (characters, button, layout). And to discuss some practical questions that using website. At last, put forward relevant criterion. This study is divided into three experiment stages. First, previous experiment: the purpose is to understand for older adults that preference of text, button size, and layout. Second, the first website test, apply previous result of experiment to the existing website about older adults, and to invite older adults to get some reviews. Third, the second website test, according to suggestions of last stage, and make a new edition website for older adults. Finally, according to the result of study, and bring up the appropriate website interface for older adults. The Chinese website interface for older adults of this study, the conclusion is divided into three major parts: First, style of text: The character sizes are between 14pt and 18pt. The fonts are related to character size. To use bold and sans serif fonts if character sizes are between 12pt and 14pt; to use bold and serif fonts if character sizes are 18pt. The justification is left. The characters are larger the row spacing needs the more widely. Second, website using: The button sizes are larger than 35px. Using the picture and text add to button, and increase the feedback. Third, website present: Keep website consistency, and let older adults know where they are as much as possible. It must be obviously different between pages to pages or after operating.
