Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所碩士班 === 95 === A procedure is This study examined the impact of risk-taking effects on performance in the unlimited following car task and the limited speed driving and decision making task. Sixty-four participants were assigned to play the signal detection task and gambling task then divided the participants into risky and conservative groups. Each group included sixteen participants. They were assigned to do the unlimited car following task and the limited-speed driving and decision making task. The result showed that conservative groups have significant long distance in unlimited car following task. But, there are no significant effect in driving speed and decision making when coming across the intersection of roads. The finding in car following task support Wilde’s (1988) Risk Homeostasis Theory, but the effect in driving speed and decision making when coming across the intersection of roads needs furthermore evidence.
