Ten subjects were purposely chosen from Down syndrome foundation of Taiwan R.O.C. Data collections were conducted by semi-structured interviews and were tape recorded from May to August 2006. Each case is interviewed twice about 60 to 80 minutes to enrich and validate this study. The data was analyzed by four-steps: epoche, phenomenological reduction, imaginative variation and synthesis (Moustakas, 1994). Results are revealed as follows: 1. Mother-daughter connection: attention on daughters' ability, intergenerational experience, binding among mother and daughter, menstrual management; 2. Cooperation of family members; 3. Participation of others people. The goal of this study is to provide a scientific knowledge foundation for family nursing in menstrual management. Hsien-Hsien Chiang 蔣欣欣 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 65 zh-TW
