Split ring resonator causes effect negative permeability. In this paper, we calculate the effective permittivity and effect permeability through Transmission-Reflection method. Several coplanar waveguide feed band-stop filters were made. We etched split ring resonators on transmission line so that we can take advantage of negative effective permeability characteristic to form deep skirt in the stop band.
