ZigBee exploits IEEE 802.15.4 wireless technology that stresses low cost and low power consumption. It is highly likely that future home will have smart appliances with both protocols. How to seamlessly connect SCP-based and ZigBee-based smart devices is very interesting and important. In this thesis, we analyze the differences between ZigBee and SCP protocols, identify the problems of combining with two networks and propose the bridge-based solution to interconnect ZigBee and SCP networks.
