Summary: | 碩士 === 大同大學 === 工業設計學系(所) === 95 === Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is important to collaborative design. However, current training systems for PLM do not consider the individual differences of users caused by different background of education and working experiences. This shortcoming hampers the learning of such systems. In order to solve this problem, the objective of this research is to develop the database and the user interface for searching appropriate training files by considering different situations of learning.
Based on the survey of requirements, the author constructs two sets of user interface for experiments. The first set of user interfaces has a two-level menu structure that incorporates all categories into a single naviation bar. The second set of user interfaces has a three-level menu structure that categorizes files based on different aspects of learning conditions.
The results of experiments show that people with practical product design experiences prefer the user interface with three-level menu structure. Therefore, in order to facilitate collaborative design, the user interface of a training file searching system should be organized based on different aspects of learning conditions.
