We use the voltage controlled frame rate control with pulse width modulation method to display a frame on field emission display and adopt the existing plasma display panel driver ICs to drive the field emission display. The designed control system can be implemented by FPGA in this thesis and compiled by Altera Quartus II software and verified by ModelSim simulation results.
