Twenty nine student subjects without any experience of strength training took part in this experiment voluntarily. A thirty-two-week duration divided into four training cycles (8 weeks as a cycle) was scheduled from the 7th, September, 2006 to the 3rd, May, 2007, excluded a 3-week winter vacation. For weight trainings, subjects were asked to conduct 8-12 RM with a load of 50-80% of maximal strength. A result of paired t-test indicates that subjects made significant progress in performances at the end of the fourth cycle for one-minute pull-up and four weight trainings. Furthermore, one-way ANOVA reveals that the effect of training cycle had a significantly positive influence on performances; the more the cycles, the better the performances. Of interest, dramatic progress was observed at the end of either the second or the third cycle.
