In this context, the series is a group, reproduction is the process of individual growth and evolution allows objects to be infused with new life, each one a unique part of the group. A single entity is slowly formed through the addition of individual elements, the latter evolving into a group almost like the piling of Lego pieces one on top of another. Finally an amusement park is built with all the necessary facilities. This incremental accumulation feels like the growth of a family, one that will continue to grow and expand as long as the genes to do so exist. The use of folding creates a dialogue between the objects and three-dimensional space, just as the use of different materials and colors gives the jewelry a more varied appearance. Multiple possibilities offered by the reuse of the elements and a wide range of structural combinations, is a key design feature. In Nature continued reproduction is based on the splitting of cells into individual units. In contrast our methodology involves molds and modern machinery-based production. The use of machines makes it possible to reduce the time needed to reproduce the individual elements and handicraft work ensures each piece is distinctive. The combination of machine and handicraft work guarantees that the works are as perfect as possible. meiing Hsu 徐玫瑩 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 36 zh-TW |

碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 95 === We choose to make ourselves tools for the reproduction of a work, crafting replicated elements that gradually come together as a group, creating a series.
