According by the result of questionnaires and the aiding with interviews to discuss and analyze and realize the learning satisfaction and situation of the art-talented students in elementary schools. It was to compare the effect of the learning satisfaction of the art-talented students in diverse background variables. The subjects were 171 six graders of art-gifted class students enrolling in 2006.The methodology were questionnaire and semi-structured interview about 30 students. The results are as followed. 一、 The current situation of art-talented students in Taipei county elementary school 1. The numbers of female students were more than male students about 21%. 2. The students of outside art campus training were 52%. 3. The students who liked all curriculums are the most in the item of the most favorite kinds of curriculum. 4. There are 95% students who had more than 80scores on the intellectual and art education. 5. There are 50% of the students would hope to study in art class in junior high school. 6. Most of the students’ parents’ educational background were senior high school and university level. 7. More than half students didn’t have any relatives and neighbors who had been studied in art- talented class. 8. There are 50% of the students’ family financial situation were so –so. 9. Most of the students’ parents were not work which were related to art. 10. More than half students whose motivation of being in art- talented class was interesting. 二、 The learning satisfaction of the art-talented students in elementary schools The degree of overall learning satisfaction was tended to high satisfaction and satisfaction. The result of all aspects of learning satisfaction rank were ‘Teaching method’, ‘Course’, ‘Achievement’, ‘Relationship’, Environment’. 三、 The effect of art- talented class students’ learning satisfaction in different background variables The students who chose the item of ‘attending to high education’, ‘father’s work were related to art’, ‘liked the different kind of curriculum’ showed significant differences in learning satisfaction. The students who chose the item of ‘ the different gender’, ‘taking lessons after school’, ‘scores on the intellectual and art education’, ‘relatives who are studying in art- talented class’, ‘family financial situation’, ‘ mother’s education background’ showed no significant differences in learning satisfaction. According to open-ended item and interview, the students had satisfied about teachers’ teaching styles, making good friends, learning something interesting, learning some created skill, enjoying the achievement of their product. The affairs that they would expect to improve were something about the pressure of schoolwork, to push out from general class students, tired about their homework, to allot the material suitably, the learning facilities. They would expect that the government would heighten the budget and improve the learning facilities and the teacher would make the cooperative mechanism of coordination and arrange the schedule and homework appropriately and the parents would encourage the students to participate the open-air art activities in order to enlarge the space and eyesight of the learning. 二、 The learning satisfaction of the art-talented students in elementary schools
