As a result, children’s life has been influenced in respect of a variety of performance in their life rather than being influenced by schooling life situation, which also includes family life scenario, social life situation, etc. When a baby was born to enter the adult world, engaged in simulated learning language behavior, their sensitive life, sharp intuition displaying marvelous performance, and children always identify overall characteristic through a concrete situation, induct and assort their concept, situation, people’s life, learning, growth relationship. As regards to colored world of line image, children further can conduct overall insight, developing unique language characteristics and sense of beauty thru a complicated environment. Knowledge is based on the pulse of situation, and a learner may really manipulate knowledge through a participation in living situation activity. Providing a quality learning situation for children is the most important thinking in education. Looking at our ancestor painters, musicians, performance artists, they had become a great artist finally for they had received the optimal artistic experience from their childhood. Since through Lave’s five internship cases study, he raised the foundation for situational learning theory;again it attracted emphasis on situational education from various callings, and newly initiated mastership learning, suggesting the fabricating layout of learning situation was the key to success/failure。At home there are many educational institutions and enterprise groups which emphasize situational education learning.。They suggest learning should be established within a real activity, and learners have to use what they have learned from the activity. What knowledge the learners have gained from the real activity is used, and they should know the meaning of knowledge, build an awareness of knowledge, and apply it to solving the problem; taking the awareness of internship as a strategy, it provides an environment seemingly to be learned by the learners, allowing students to develop a variety of their own problem-solving strategy. During our childhood, we mostly liked the temple festivals, especially those art activities along with the festival, which could be most interacted with Taiwanese’ life, either the god welcome party or temple festivals between the villages, when each group starting to play, it usually excited the crowd to see and chase with passion, that’s what a deep impression when I was a child to contact the folk activity. Upon moving to Taipei city, I found those colorful, wonderful and marvelous folk activities had been replaced by electronic musical car, and it also often was closed with blame for its big noise, why people in common oppose their children to contact the folk festival play groups, suggesting it was low level, not to be cultural enough for showing openly, or assuming it was connected with “black gang”, and therefore they did not like it. It this a natural evolution as the time goes by?Or there has some problem happened with respect to the strategy of inheritance and passing?As a fine-art and game-play teacher and further to be an arts liberal teacher, I deeply feel the importance relating to the inheritance and innovation of the traditional arts, and how to reflect such a folk play group most to the mood of rural people, how to convert such folk play group filled with vitality into children’s art activity learning situation, how to introduce social resource into a combination with children’s life?When I worked in a private school, I participated in Puppet Show seminar sponsored by Shih Ho Cheng Foundation, and participated in folk theater as a volunteer worker as managed by the Director of Cultural Construction Council, Mr. Chiu Kun-Liang, in the school promoted lion dance folk activity and learned very much from such an activity actually;upon transferring to Gu Ting Primary School, I even more actively applied for the fund to arts liberal learning train from the Ministry of Education, participating in promoting artists stationing at school project as sponsored by the Bureau of Education, TPG, so I could further study the promotion of the traditional art – Taiwanese puppet show, and other folk plays. Through a variety of participations, I have been equipped with the chance of carrying out the probe on situational learning 。 There are three purposes in this study:one is that, studying the meaning and value of situational learning theory and practice for arts teaching in primary schools; the second is that, studying the application of situational learning to folk show group (drum drill show group) to the method and strategy of course design; and the third is, studying the result of performance for children’s active learning from situational learning.。With reference to related literatures, it is to study situational learning related theory and practice, analyze the origin of drum show group, current circumstance in the schools, the strategy of promotion, community development,carrying out course design and teaching, and finally it is to set out the result of performance by integrating the instructor, the learner and school administration, and it will give a great benefit by integrating school-stationed artists’ dialogue in respect of pose, discovering children’s character growing and group coordination through situational learning. Especially contacting artists’ manner, the type of encouragement by teachers, arrangement of class creation, self-support learning with discipline. All these can be actively participated by children and they will be influenced with creativity. Under a tree, on the corridor, walkway, at leisure time, three or more students may sing and dance together, and even one may modify Drum Drill show into a dance with vivid sense of feeling, and children may show at morning meeting or completion celebration. The inheritance of efforts from their younger comrades as continuously concerned by those who were graduated from Gu Ting , when they come back, should be the basis for sustainable development of Gu Ting’s Drum Drill Show Group.
