Under the tendency of product digitalization, will there a representative style arisen? How could enterprises use the design styles and elements to build up their own corporate image?
Through case analysis and questionnaire, this research probes into the types and styles of present digital products, in terms of the commonness of material application, pattern forming and colors, so as to have enterprises owners recognize the importance of industrial design and offer tendency and style reference resources to designers.
Product style is formed by patterns of entire elements; each element pattern is just like a "DNA" of the product style. Different category products of an enterprise possess homogeneity on their product style and forming elements. The findings of this research are: simple is the best rule, metallic material looks more valuable especially apply on the product essential detail. Use Acrylic in-mold forming technology to simplify product compositional elements. It could also increase product value to consider material characteristics while matching the color scheme.
